The Undertones: 50th Anniversary Show

Irish punk rock band The Undertones mark their 50th anniversary with a live performance at O2 Ritz Manchester.

The Undertones are an Irish punk rock band from Derry, formed in 1974. Signed to Sire Records, they released a self-titled debut album in 1979. Their musical lineage stems from the punk movement of the late 1970s, producing concise, melodic rock tracks that gained commercial success and enduring radio airplay.

The bill also features The Men They Couldn’t Hang, sharing the stage for this anniversary event. O2 Ritz Manchester hosts concerts and shows in Manchester, providing a venue for touring bands and live music fans in the city centre.

This evening suits followers of classic punk, indie and alternative rock genres who wish to hear established acts from the era performing live on this visit to Manchester.
