Danny and the Champions of the World

Danny & The Champions of the World at Islington Assembly Hall

Danny & The Champions of the World's seventh studio album 'You Are Not A Stranger Here', released on Loose Music in October 2024, has been "wildly and justifiably acclaimed" (RnR). Their live shows are leaving reviewers reaching for superlatives, from the summer's festival stages to sold out headline shows:

"When such as Bruce Springsteen and the Gaslight Anthem achieve international stardom it remains one of life’s abiding mysteries as to why Danny and the Champions of the World are not mentioned in the same breath...This was yet another brilliant performance" God is in the TV

"after much well-justified applause...the band, impossible as it seems, manage to turn it up even higher, ending proceedings with a bang while they are cheered to the rafters” RnR\*
