Aayushi, Ray Vincent-Mills and Special Guest Hannah Lou Clark

Aayushi

Aayushi is an incredible artist who has already supported Frank Turner, Dominie Hooper and Tapir, as well as playing the Commonwealth Games. She writes strikingly tender songs, sung with an uncanny intimacy, which has led to her songs hitting #1 on Spotify's "Most Beautiful Songs In The World" playlist. With nearly 10 million streams, the Birmingham based folk singer-songwriter creates ‘poems disguised as songs’, blending poetry with vocals drawn from her Indian heritage to evoke an atmosphere that is soft, hypnotic, and whimsical.

The line-up is handpicked by Aayushi for this very special show.

Ray Vincent-Mills

Ray Vincent-Mills (He/it) is a poet, facilitator, performer and caffeine enthusiast based in Birmingham. BLACK, trans, queer & grateful his work explores his identities through discomfort, exploration of the body & food as a storytelling device. It enjoys creating imagery that is abstract yet sharp. He has performed nationally & internationally in pubs, cafes, festivals, public spaces & most rooms of the house.

Hannah Lou Clark

Hannah is a national treasure. With praise from NME, Guy Garvey, Steve Lamacq and Line of Best Fit and everyone else in her back pocket, Hannah is currently quietly creating works of genius while tucked away in Cambridgeshire. We are thrilled to have her join us as Special Guest on this night.

“Within 30 seconds of Clark’s solo set starting, the room was silent. Her voice poured over the gentle dissonance suggested by each chord” – The Quietus
