Bad Manners - 50th Anniversary Tour

Bad Manners mark half a century of 2-tone ska with an anniversary tour stopping in Glasgow at Slay.

Bad Manners emerged in London in the late 1970s as part of the 2-tone ska revival movement, bringing a high-energy blend of traditional Jamaican ska and British punk influences. Led by Buster Bloodvessel, the group gained commercial prominence through the early 1980s with a string of UK chart singles including Lip Up Fatty, Special Brew and My Girl Lollipop. Their recordings combined heavy brass arrangements with comedic, larger-than-life performances that defined their distinct place within the genre.

Slay hosts this evening of live music in Glasgow. The venue provides a space for contemporary music events and touring acts in the city centre, welcoming audiences interested in rock, pop and independent music culture. This anniversary performance offers listeners a chance to hear the band's established repertoire spanning their decades-long career.
