Culture Club: The Singles Tour

Culture Club's The Singles Tour is a concert at The O2 in London, bringing together the British new wave and pop band with two other acts named on the bill, Abc and Haircut 100.

Culture Club is a British new wave and pop band formed in London in 1981. Signed to Virgin Records, the group released its first album, Kissing to Be Clever, in 1982. The title of this tour points to the band's catalogue of singles, which is the focus of the evening.

Abc and Haircut 100 are also on the bill, both British acts from the same early 1980s pop scene that Culture Club emerged from. The usual line-up and repertoire for each performance are not detailed here beyond the title of the tour, so the evening's running order should be checked on the night's programme.

The O2 is a large entertainment venue in London that hosts concerts and shows throughout the year. The night suits listeners who know the band's singles and those who enjoy British pop of the early 1980s, and it is a practical choice for a concert-goer wanting a well-known venue in the capital.
