Overview

An in-store acoustic performance by the English rock band Editors at Rough Trade East in London, held to mark the release of their album Surface, Echo and Sound.

Editors are an English rock band whose sound sits between alternative and indie rock. They were formed in Birmingham in 2002, and after signing with Play It Again Sam they released their first album, The Back Room, in 2005.

This matinee is an acoustic, in-store performance at Rough Trade East, and it is given by three members of the band: Tom Smith, the lead singer, together with Russell Leetch and Elliot Williams. The event marks the new album Surface, Echo and Sound, which is also released through Play It Again Sam. Rough Trade East hosts concerts and shows in London, and this performance takes place in its shop.

Tickets include a copy of the new album in the format of your choice, to be collected from the shop on the day, and the copies are pre-signed.
