Gary Delaney: Gary On Laughing

A stand-up comedy show by Gary Delaney, an English writer and comedian, presenting an entirely new set of jokes at Dudley Town Hall. It is a fresh show rather than a revival of earlier material.

Gary On Laughing is a stand-up comedy show by Gary Delaney, built around new jokes written for this production. It follows a long previous UK tour, which took the comedian to many venues over an extended period, and this new programme returns to the stage with material that has not been performed before on that run.

The humour is aimed at adults. The material is frank and bawdy, and it relies on a steady sequence of puns, wordplay and one-liners, delivered directly to the room. Anyone who prefers gentler comedy should be aware that the jokes are deliberately rude, and the evening is built around the quality of the writing and the timing of each punchline.

The show is staged at Dudley Town Hall, a theatre on St James's Road in Dudley, in the West Midlands. Its programme places Gary Delaney's stand-up at the centre of the evening, with the comedian performing the full hour of new material.
