Overview
Grace Jarvis: Getting Dragged Backwards Through a Hedge Grace Jarvis has fallen in love and is unbearably happy (now). It has been very stressful. Australian comedy's number one autistic glamourpuss is back with another hour of trademark Jarvis oddball stand-up.
She's getting dragged backwards through a hedge and onto stage to perform some brand-new carefully crafted, deceivingly dark and genuinely funny stand-up comedy about feeling "in trouble" just for existing, candy floss flavoured vapes and the collapse of the social contract.
There's something, if not for everyone, then for a large spectrum of freaks. One of Rolling Stone's 12 Must-See Comedy Shows at the Edinburgh Fringe 2025. Tour support for Aunty Donna 2025. "Rising talent...
commands the audience with charm and gusto" - The Guardian "Unique, compelling and very funny" - Rolling Stone "A refreshing and unique perspective in amongst an ocean of generic stand-up" - Art Murmurs "One of the smartest and funniest comedians coming up in Australia right now" - Zachary Ruane (Aunty Donna) "I LOVED her show and I LOVE her" - Rosie Jones
