In the Round: HYD

A London concert by Hyd, the American singer, artist and designer who has released music on XL Recordings since 2014, presented at the ICA London under the title In the Round: HYD.

Hyd is the artist name of an American singer, artist and designer who has been active since 2014 and releases music on XL Recordings. The project's best-known work is QT, made with the producers A. G. Cook and Sophie, and it is the most direct reference point for the act's recorded sound.

The ICA London hosts concerts and shows in London, and this evening is listed there under the title In the Round. The stage line-up and the repertoire for this performance are not detailed in the listing, so the most reliable guide to what the act does is its recorded output, starting with QT and the collaborations around it.

The night suits listeners already interested in contemporary pop and the wider circle of artists linked to A. G. Cook and Sophie, as well as visitors who want to see a singer and designer working across music and visual art in a London arts venue.
