Overview
A life drawing workshop at the Trinity Arms in Brixton, where participants sketch live models lit by ultraviolet light and work with neon-reactive art materials.
Participants draw from live models in a session built around neon-reactive art materials, which respond to ultraviolet light. The models are lit under UV, so the colours of the materials and of the figures change noticeably from a standard life drawing class. Each session is a hands-on workshop: you draw while the models pose, and the focus stays on making marks and observing the figure under the light.
The workshop takes place at the Trinity Arms on Trinity Gardens in Brixton, in the Lambeth area of south London. It suits people who want to try life drawing in a different setting, whether they come alone or with a friend who would like to take part too.
