Neverland - An Indoor Peter Pan Experience

An immersive Peter Pan experience presented at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery, where visitors walk through themed rooms inspired by J.M. Barrie's story of Neverland.

Neverland is an immersive experience based on J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan, set up in the Gas Hall gallery of Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery, a museum and art gallery on Chamberlain Square. Visitors pass through a series of decorated rooms, including forest settings, pirate ships and spaces lit with strings of small lights. Along the route, Peter Pan and Wendy are present, as are Captain Hook, Tinkerbell and the crocodile from the story.

The immersive design was created by Culture Creative, which builds heritage experiences. The project pays tribute to Barrie's 1929 gift to Great Ormond Street Hospital, and a share of every ticket sold goes to Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity, which supports seriously ill children.

The experience is open to all audiences and is accessible to people with reduced mobility. It suits anyone who knows the story and wants to see its scenes brought into a gallery setting, whether they visit with children or on their own.
