RUSH: Fifty Something Tour

Rush, the Canadian hard rock band from Toronto, play a concert at The O2 in London as part of the Fifty Something Tour. The show is listed under pop, rock and indie.

Rush was formed in 1968 in Toronto, around bassist and singer Geddy Lee, guitarist Alex Lifeson and drummer Neil Peart. The band is a Canadian hard rock group, and its long career has made it one of the most widely followed trios in rock. Fans of progressive and hard rock will recognise the instrumental density and extended song structures associated with the band's work.

The Fifty Something Tour takes its name from the band's long career, and this London date is one of several stops on the tour. Details of the setlist and any guest performers are not set out here, so the repertoire on the night is best taken as an open question rather than assumed in advance.

The O2 is a large entertainment venue on the Greenwich Peninsula, hosting concerts and shows across many genres. The concert suits listeners who already know Rush's catalogue, as well as those curious about one of the defining hard rock acts to emerge from Canada.
