Scenic Route w/ Operelly, Ms Ray, Reinen

REINEN at ORMSIDE projects

On October 28th all roads lead to Ormside Projects. A night of sultry vocals, shimmering synths and warm pads all underpinned by a heart touching melodies and odd ball production.

Operelly arrives for her debut London show. Influenced by the likes of Stereolab and Broadcast, Operelly’s music weaves together delicate electronic and acoustic elements into a form that Olivia calls “tiptoe music.” Olivia grew up writing poetry, short stories, and songs before discovering music production via the free Garage Band app.

Ms Ray interweaves themes of empowerment, self-discovery and the healing potential of the present. Her songs are ‘minimal, vocal led tracks, but more than that, there’s songcraft at play… The delivery is heartfelt.’

An alumnus of the mercurial Paul Institute collective, REINEN is a future forward art-pop artist. Born and raised in North-West London she is a singer songwriter, producer, dancer an analogue video artist. She uses multiple media to frame her music with her esoteric visual and sonic concepts. Her blend of glitchy rnb & the avante garde is one of one.

A Ms Ray collaborator, she opens up proceedings for the night.
