STICKY FLOORS: 'Songspaces'

Songspaces is the first event of a project exploring the relationship between music and painting, staged at M.O.T on Surrey Canal Road with performances by Mabel Clarke, Saoirse Moncrieff and Miranda Gray-aragoneses.

Songspaces takes its inspiration from the work of Nilima Sheikh, presented in the listing as one of India's leading artists. The project sets out to examine links between music and painting, drawing on academic research and performance art. This evening is the opening event of that project.

The line-up brings together Mabel Clarke, Saoirse Moncrieff and Miranda Gray-aragoneses, whose music the listing describes as creating a distinct world of its own. The programme also includes live painting and other approaches to exploring how music and painting intertwine. The event is categorised under punk and rock.

M.O.T, the venue, is on Surrey Canal Road and hosts concerts and shows.
