Overview
A club night from the Toy Tonics collective, a label and party crew rooted in Berlin's underground, staged at Phonox in London with Cody Currie, Kapote and Maria Hanlon taking part.
Toy Tonics describes itself as a label and party crew that grew out of Berlin's underground scene and now sits among the more distinctive names in contemporary dance music. The collective brings together younger producers, record diggers and more established selectors, and its parties centre on the pleasure of the dancefloor.
The music moves between house, italo, disco and funk, with an eclectic approach that the collective presents as a playful, colourful side of club culture. Cody Currie is billed as a special guest on the bill, alongside Kapote and Maria Hanlon.
Phonox is a London venue that hosts concerts and shows, and this night is aimed at those who want upbeat grooves and a dancefloor that keeps going late into the night.
