Wednesday Unplugged Jazz: Luke Purbrick Trio

A jazz evening led by the Luke Purbrick Trio, presented as part of the Wednesday Unplugged Jazz series at Next Door Records in London.

The Luke Purbrick Trio performs jazz in the Wednesday Unplugged Jazz series, which gives the evening its name and its acoustic format. The line-up, the repertoire and the musicians'backgrounds are not detailed in the information available for this listing, so the description cannot go further into the band's history, records or influences without speculation.

Next Door Records hosts concerts and shows in London, and this evening is held there as part of the Wednesday series. The night suits listeners interested in small-group jazz presented in a record-shop setting, rather than a large-scale concert hall.

The Wednesday Unplugged Jazz title points to a regular format, so the evening can be seen as one instalment of an ongoing series rather than a one-off event.
