Alexis Ffrench is a British classical-soul pianist, composer and producer. The context gives the artist's birth year as 1970. Ffrench released the first album, Piano Diaries, in 2006, followed by Evolution (2018) and Dreamland (2020). The artist has also collaborated with the singer Paloma Faith, a connection that places Ffrench's work alongside contemporary soul and pop.

The listing is categorised as pop, rock and indie, which sits somewhat apart from the classical-soul description of the artist's recordings, so the programme may draw on more than one strand of the artist's output. The usual line-up and the repertoire for this concert are not specified here, and the text does not assume either.
