Almost Starlight is a listening party built around the album of the same name by Jem Finer and John Matthias, presented in the electronic genre. Jon Wozencroft introduces the evening, and the album is played through a high-quality sound system.

Once the album has finished, the evening moves into conversation, with questions and answers between the audience and the two artists. Impromptu performances on hurdy-gurdy and violin are also part of the night, bringing live playing into the room alongside the recorded tracks.

Theme Ltd Studios is a London venue that hosts concerts and shows. The format suits listeners who want to hear the album closely and then talk about it with the people who made it.
