Overview
Finnish metal acts Amorphis and Insomnium bring their tour to Manchester, joined by Unto Others at O2 Ritz Manchester.
Amorphis is a Finnish death-doom, melodic death metal and folk metal band, formed in 1990 in Helsinki. Signed to Nuclear Blast, they released their debut studio album, The Karelian Isthmus, in 1992, establishing a foundation that blended heavy riffing with atmospheric folk elements and melodic textures.
They are joined by fellow Finns Insomnium, a melodic death metal band formed in Joensuu in 1997. Signed to Century Media Records, the group released their debut album, In the Halls of Awaiting, in 2002. The bill is completed by Unto Others. This concert takes place at O2 Ritz Manchester, a venue that hosts concerts and shows in Manchester, making this an evening suited to followers of heavy guitar music.
