Blackgold

A London concert by Blackgold, a UK nu-metal collective whose members perform masked, with support from PENGSHUi and Indigo Blaze, at The Underworld.

Blackgold are an anonymous UK collective playing a modern take on nu metal, combining heavy guitar riffs with hip-hop style vocals and turntable textures. The material describes their sets as fast and loud, built around crowd interaction and singalong hooks. The band say they have shared stages with Limp Bizkit and Skindred and have played in the UK, Europe and the United States. Press quotes from BBC Radio 1, Metal Hammer, Rock Sound and Kerrang! describe them as one of the hottest new British bands and as keeping nu-metal alive.

The night is billed alongside PENGSHUi and Indigo Blaze, who are the other artists named for this event. The Underworld is a London venue that hosts concerts and shows. The material also mentions an after party in the venue's Blackout Club, and it notes that the event is restricted to those aged 14 and over, with younger attendees needing an adult.
