Overview
Finnish band Blind Channel bring their Painstream tour to The Underworld in London, presenting new material after a period away from the studio.
Blind Channel are a Finnish band formed in 2013 in Oulu, working across alternative rock and nu metal. Their debut album, Revolutions, was released on Century Media Records in 2016. The group describes itself as modern metal and has recently returned after a break of about eighteen months without releasing music.
The London date is part of the Painstream tour, built around the band's sixth studio album, Painstream, due for release through Century Media Records. According to the announcement, the record contains twelve tracks dealing with personal growth, self-reflection and high-energy playing. The lead single, Stars We See, is cited as the clearest example of the new direction, moving from an existential crisis towards a more hopeful message.
Blind Channel share the bill with Block of Flats. The Underworld is a London venue that hosts concerts and shows. Fans of the band's recent work will find the new album central to the evening, with the band presenting it live as their new chapter.
