Bonnie Prince Billy

Bonnie Prince Billy is a singer-songwriter's project in concert at Albert Hall, a concert and performance venue in Manchester, with Dawn McCarthy on the same bill.

Bonnie Prince Billy is the stage name of a singer-songwriter from Louisville, Kentucky, active since the 1990s. The work began under the Palace name and continued under this title, releasing a long run of albums. It sits within lo-fi folk and alt-country, built on spare, direct songs.

Dawn McCarthy is billed alongside Bonnie Prince Billy for this concert at Albert Hall, a concert and performance venue at the heart of Manchester's cultural calendar.

The night suits listeners already familiar with the project's albums, which span more than two decades, and newcomers to American lo-fi folk looking for a direct introduction to the songwriting.
