Overview
Brass Against brings its heavy brass interpretations of rock songs to Glasgow for a live performance at Slay.
Brass Against is an American brass protest music band formed in 2017 that creates brass-inflected cover versions of rock songs. The collective arranges and performs aggressive brass covers of well-known tracks from the rock and metal canon, blending heavy metal aggression with horn arrangements.
Slay hosts concerts and shows in Glasgow, providing a city centre venue for the touring act's visit. This performance suits fans of rock repertoire performed through large-scale brass instrumentation, offering an alternative take on familiar compositions through a wind and percussion ensemble.
