Daniele Silvestri

Daniele Silvestri, Italian singer-songwriter, performs at the O2 Academy Islington in London as part of a pop, rock and indie concert.

Daniele Silvestri is an Italian pop singer-songwriter from Rome, active since 1994, when the eponymous debut album was released. The project draws on pop, rock and indie sounds, sung in Italian. Silvestri writes and performs the songs, and this evening presents the Italian repertoire to a London audience.

The concert takes place at the O2 Academy Islington, a venue in London that hosts concerts and shows. It suits listeners interested in Italian songwriting and in the meeting of pop and rock with a singer-songwriter's lyrics. Anyone already familiar with the artist's records will recognise the lineage of the songs, while newcomers can approach the evening through the language and the sound of the arrangements.

The programme and the line-up of musicians for this visit to London are not detailed here; the set is built around Silvestri's own compositions.
