daoud

A London jazz concert by Daoud, an artist based in the city who reworks jazz on personal terms. The night is presented at The Jazz Cafe.

Daoud is a London-based artist whose work reshapes jazz according to their own approach, questioning the genre's conventions through instinct, tension and a deliberate refusal to follow them. The published description places the music between contrasts: playful passages set against heavier ones, moments of apparent disorder balanced by restraint, and brief fragile episodes that cut through sudden bursts of raw intensity.

The source describes the music as uncompromising yet personal, and as a process of taking jazz apart and rebuilding it during the performance itself. No line-up, repertoire or running order has been given beyond this.

The Jazz Cafe is a London venue that hosts concerts and shows, and the evening suits listeners interested in experimental, contemporary jazz who want to hear an individual approach to the form.
