PUNK'S NOT DEAD

Dezerter is one of the most important Polish punk rock bands. It was formed in Warsaw in 1981, originally under the name SS-20. The band was known for its fast, aggressive music and lyrics criticizing the communist government, the police, and social problems.

During martial law, the band changed its name to Dezerter. It became a symbol of rebellion and independent music, especially among young people. The band performed at the famous Jarocin Festival and released several influential albums.

Dezerter is considered a legend of Polish punk rock and continues to perform today.
