Don Toliver

Don Toliver performs at The O2 in London, bringing the American rapper and singer's contemporary R&B and hip-hop work to the capital's largest arena stage.

Don Toliver is the stage name of an American rapper, singer and songwriter working across contemporary R&B, hip-hop and trap. Born in Houston, the artist has been active since 2017 and signed to Atlantic Records. Their album Heaven or Hell, released in 2020, is the record most often cited in connection with their recent output, and it shows the blend of melodic singing and rap delivery that defines the project.

The act's live shows centre on this combination of sung hooks and rapped verses, with the rhythmic, bass-heavy production of trap at the core of the sound. Details of the stage set-up and the line-up accompanying the artist on this visit are not part of the information available here, so the performance should be judged on the music itself.

The O2 is a large multi-purpose venue on the Greenwich peninsula in south-east London, hosting concerts and shows throughout the year. The evening suits listeners already familiar with Don Toliver's records, as well as anyone curious about contemporary hip-hop and R&B performed in a major London venue.
