Eek-A-Mouse + Boom Donovan + Robbo Ranx

A reggae evening at Hootananny Brixton, headlined by Jamaican singer Eek-A-Mouse, with Boom Donovan and Robbo Ranx also on the bill.

Eek-A-Mouse is a Jamaican reggae singer born in Kingston in 1957. They began their career in 1975 and released their first album, Bubble Up Yu Hip, in 1980. The act is closely associated with the dancehall and reggae tradition that developed in Jamaica from the late 1970s, and their vocal style, built on rapid, playful delivery, has been a reference point for later artists. The information available does not detail the line-up or repertoire for this particular night.

Boom Donovan and Robbo Ranx are also named on the bill. Robbo Ranx is a British reggae and dancehall performer, and Boom Donovan is listed alongside them, so the evening brings together several voices from the reggae scene rather than a single headline set alone.

Hootananny Brixton is a live music venue in London hosting concerts and shows across a range of genres. The night will suit listeners who follow Jamaican reggae and dancehall, and those interested in seeing veteran performers alongside newer names on the same bill.
