Eve

Concert by Eve, a Japanese singer-songwriter whose work moves between J-pop, dance-rock and city pop, presented at KOKO in London.

Eve is a Japanese singer-songwriter born in 1995, working across J-pop, dance-rock and city pop. First noticed through cover songs posted on Nico Nico Douga, the Japanese video-sharing platform, Eve has been active since 2009. Its first album, Wonder Word, was released on Toy's Factory in 2014.

KOKO, the London venue, hosts concerts and shows, and this date offers a chance to hear these styles in a live setting. The evening suits listeners already familiar with Japanese pop, as well as those curious about how cover songs led to original recordings. The catalogue spans the three genres named above, from pop songwriting to dance-oriented rock and the sound of city pop.
