Everything Yes
Everything Yes is a jazz collective from North Carolina, led by drummer Zack Grooves, presenting its music at The Jazz Cafe in London.
Overview
Everything Yes is a jazz collective from North Carolina, led by drummer Zack Grooves, who is also known from YouTube. The band grew out of late-night jam sessions and takes its name from a simple working principle: when a member brought an idea forward, the answer was yes.
According to the material published for this concert, the group's playing combines strong instrumental skill with a playful approach to the music. The band describes its live performances as unpredictable and energetic, with the audience invited to follow the direction the music takes.
The Jazz Cafe is a London venue hosting concerts and shows, and this appearance is a visit by the band to the city. Listeners interested in contemporary jazz with an improvised, collective character will find the programme of this evening closely aligned with that approach.
