Overview
French 79 is the project of Simon Henner, a Marseille-based producer whom Jean-Michel Jarre has named as an heir to the French Touch. The catalogue rests on three albums, Olympic, Joshua and TEENAGERS. The music relies on harmonic sequences and arpeggios that turn sounds into emotional landscapes, and it reaches well beyond the techno scene.
Two singles, Diamond Veins and Lovin'Feeling, have received export platinum certification, and Moon, a diamond single, was produced and co-composed by the project for Kid Francescoli. The studio releases form the basis of the material available on this page. Islington Assembly Hall, a Grade II listed building in London, hosts concerts and shows, and this electronic evening is one of them.
