Ghostly Kisses

Ghostly Kisses is the musical project of French-Canadian singers Margaux Sauvé and Louis-Étienne Santais, presented in concert at Village Underground in London.

Ghostly Kisses is a project led by singers Margaux Sauvé and Louis-Étienne Santais, based in Quebec. Sauvé is signed to the British label Akira Records, and the name is taken from a line in William Faulkner's poem "A Ballad of the Lost Ladies".

The duo's material, as described by its own presentation, is built on dream-pop and indie textures, with delicate melodies, understated electronics and orchestral touches. The songwriting focuses on distance in its many forms: separation from loved ones, the passage of time, and the tension between wanting permanence and accepting impermanence. The most recent album referred to in the source, Darkroom (2024), was made from anonymous letters sent in by fans around the world.

Village Underground hosts concerts and shows in London. The evening suits listeners interested in intimate, song-led indie music performed by a duo.
