Overview
Gloryhammer, a British power metal band, bring their fifth album tour to Islington Assembly Hall, with Finnish metal act Arion and Swedish band Majestica in support.
Gloryhammer is a British power metal band formed in 2010. They first presented themselves as a heroic fantasy power metal project and later moved towards science-fiction themes. This concert belongs to their fifth album release tour, which brings new material from an upcoming record alongside songs the band regularly plays live, presented with a fresh production.
The bill includes two support acts. Arion is a Finnish heavy metal group formed in 2011, whose debut album, Last of Us, came out in 2014 on Ranka Kustannus. Majestica is a Swedish band whose material is described as melodic, high-impact power metal. Both acts are on the tour alongside the headliners.
Islington Assembly Hall is a Grade II listed venue in Islington that hosts concerts and shows. The evening suits listeners who follow power metal and its related strands, and anyone curious about the support acts, who are open to early arrivals.
