Grandmas House

Grandmas House are a Bristol-based punk/alt-rock band delivering a fierce, riff-heavy sound that channels grunge, post-punk and noise rock into something urgent and uncompromising. Built on distorted guitars, driving rhythms and a dark, brooding atmosphere, their music balances raw aggression with a sharp sense of control.

Since emerging from the UK underground, the band have built a reputation for intense, high-impact live shows — loud, visceral and emotionally charged. Their songs often explore themes of anger, identity, frustration and release, cutting through with directness and weight rather than excess.

Drawing from the lineage of ‘90s grunge and punk while sitting firmly in the modern DIY landscape, Grandmas House fuse sludgy textures with tight songwriting, creating tracks that feel both chaotic and purposeful. There’s a physicality to their sound — heavy, immersive and unrelenting — but also a clarity in how they structure tension and release.

With growing momentum across the UK scene, Grandmas House stand out as a band unafraid to lean into darkness and distortion, crafting music that is confrontational, cathartic and built to be felt as much as heard.
