Overview
Haken is a progressive rock and progressive metal group from London, formed in 2007 and signed to Inside Out Music, the label that releases their albums. After a gap of three years, the band now presents fresh recordings, led by the release in a fever dream.
The new songs lean towards more openly emotional writing than the band's earlier work, extending a path of change visible across their releases. On stage they combine this material with songs from their back catalogue. Ilho and Black Orchid Empire open the evening.
Islington Assembly Hall, a Grade II listed building in north London, hosts concerts and shows. The evening suits listeners following progressive rock and metal, with both the new release and the established catalogue on the bill.
