Ibibio Sound Machine is an English electronic afro-funk band formed in London around singer Eno Williams, and the group was signed to Merge Records, where it released its eponymous debut album in 2014. The material describes an eight-piece line-up with co-founder Max Grunhard, and presents the band as blending West African rhythms with electronic textures, disco, post-punk and club music.

According to the source, the group has played several large festivals in the UK and abroad, including Glastonbury, WOMAD and Green Man, and has supported Coldplay at Wembley Stadium. It has also appeared on Later…With Jools Holland and in a KEXP live session. A sixth album on Merge Records is announced for later in 2026.
