Igorrr

Igorrr brings a blend of extreme metal, breakcore and classical influences to O2 Institute Birmingham, accompanied by Shining and Otto Von Schirach.

Igorrr is the alias of French experimental music composer Gautier Serre, who began the project in 2005. The debut album, Poisson soluble, was released in 2006 on the Ad Noiseam label. The music fuses black metal, death metal, electronic breakcore, opera and baroque instrumentation into an extreme, genre-defying sound.

Supporting acts Shining and Otto Von Schirach join the bill for this date in Birmingham. Shining brings a jazz-infused extreme metal approach, while Otto Von Schirach contributes Miami-based electronic and experimental bass music. The concert takes place at O2 Institute Birmingham, a venue hosting concerts and shows in Birmingham.

This evening suits listeners interested in extreme musical fusions and boundary-pushing heavy metal production. Attendees will hear a dense blend of blast beats, operatic vocals and intricate electronic programming.
