Jack Mac's Funk Pack

Led by saxophonist and vocalist Jack Mac, Jack Mac's Funk Pack brings a powerhouse line-up of some of the finest jazz, soul, and funk musicians from across Wales and the South West.

Taking inspiration from New Orleans heavyweights like Galactic, Dumpstaphunk, and Trombone Shorty, the band delivers a high-octane fusion of syncopated grooves, razor-sharp brass arrangements, and heavy vocal harmonies.

Built on a formidable rhythm section and infectious horn hooks, their sound bridges classic 70s funk sensibilities with the raw, explosive energy of modern street-brass culture.

Jack Mac's Funk Pack has built a fierce reputation as one of the UK's premier live funk outfits, having performed at top venues like London's St-Martin's-in-the-fields, Manchester's Matt & Phreds, Bristol's Jam Jar and Cardiff's Tramshed, as well as featured on the line ups for Brecon, Swansea and Brecon Jazz Festivals.

They have also supported international acts like Hot 8 Brass Band, The Headhunters and Too Many Zooz to great acclaim.

Whether commanding festival crowds or intimate club stages, Jack Mac's Funk Pack delivers an unmissable, high-energy live performance loaded with original funk compositions, inspired and reimagined classics, and relentless groove.

Expect an evening of top-tier musicianship, huge brass hooks, and an infectious atmosphere designed to get the room moving.
