Overview
Kaleo, the Icelandic blues rock group, bring their Way Down We Go tour to the O2 Academy Brixton in London. The concert is part of a visit to the capital by the band.
Kaleo is an Icelandic blues rock group formed in Mosfellsbær in 2012. Signed to Elektra Records, the band released its self-titled debut album in 2013. Their music draws on blues rock traditions, with a rock sound that places the vocals and guitar at the centre of the songs.
The concert forms part of the Way Down We Go tour, which gives the title to this London date. Listeners familiar with the band's recorded work will recognise the blues rock lineage behind its sound, while the show offers a chance to hear that repertoire in a live setting.
The O2 Academy Brixton is a London venue that hosts concerts and shows throughout the year. The evening suits fans of blues rock and indie-leaning rock who want to see an Icelandic act perform in the capital.
