Kirsten Adamson

Award-winning singer/songwriter Kirsten Adamson (daughter of rock legend Stuart Adamson (Big Country, Skids) summons the same heart-stopping purity as Sandy Denny, by way of Emmylou Harris and Kate Bush.

Backed by The Tanagers, Adamson brings a warm, expansive band sound to her distinctive blend of heartland Americana, folk and rock. Following the critically acclaimed Landing Place in 2023, Adamson sharpened her focus with Dreamviewer in 2025.

Recorded with producer Joe Harvey-Whyte, the album marked a clear step forward, leaner and more assured, with the songs given space to breathe and the performances shaped by restraint rather than excess.

Critics praised its balance, emotional precision and song-first approach, capturing an artist increasingly confident in her own instincts.

"I could listen to Adamson's voice all day every day, it's angelic" - Maverick Magazine In 2027, Kirsten Adamson & The Tanagers release Live in London, captured at the Water Rats and documenting a band that has grown in confidence, scale and reputation over the past two years.

It marks the beginning of another chapter for Adamson, with a new record on the horizon and a live show that has become as central to the story as the songs themselves. We're thrilled to be welcoming her back to Manchester in April!
