Mubi Fest

Mubi Fest is an electronic music concert at Hackney Town Hall, the civic building of Hackney Council in east London.

Mubi Fest is an electronic music event, and its artist is credited under the festival's own name. Electronic music covers a broad range of styles built on synthesisers, drum machines and computer-based production, and the night sits within that tradition. Electronic music developed through the 1980s and 1990s in dance clubs and on record, and it remains a central strand of live concert programming.

Hackney Town Hall is the civic building of Hackney Council on Mare Street in east London, and it hosts concerts as well as council business. Staging electronic music in a civic hall gives the evening a setting that differs from the club venues where the genre is more often performed.
