Ovrtic

A London concert by Ovrtic, an electronic act, at Dream Bags Jaguar Shoes, a concert and performance venue in east London.

Ovrtic is an electronic act. The genre covers music built from synthesisers, drum machines and computer-based production, with forms ranging from club-oriented dance to ambient and experimental work.

The genre grew out of studio experiments with tape and early synthesisers in the twentieth century. Dance forms such as house and techno, which emerged in Chicago and Detroit in the 1980s, made it a major strand of club culture.

Dream Bags Jaguar Shoes is a concert and performance venue in east London, so the evening sits within the capital's live programme of music and performance. It suits listeners who want to hear electronic music performed in a live setting.
