Paris Paloma

Paris Paloma, a British singer-songwriter associated with contemporary dark folk, performs at O2 Academy Brixton in London. The concert is listed under pop, rock and indie.

Paris Paloma is a British singer-songwriter whose work is associated with contemporary dark folk. The song « Labour », released in 2023, came before the first album, « Cacophony », released in 2024, which is the record most closely associated with the artist's recent output. Their music draws on a sparse, narrative songwriting tradition rather than on the pop or rock sound the listing category suggests, so the show is best approached as a singer-songwriter performance.

The usual line-up and repertoire for live performances are not detailed here, so it is not possible to say how the songs from « Cacophony » and « Labour » are presented on stage or whether any support act is involved.

O2 Academy Brixton is a London venue that hosts concerts and shows across a range of genres. The evening suits listeners interested in new British singer-songwriters and in the dark folk strand of contemporary songwriting, and those who already know the album will find the most direct connection to the material.
