Red City Disco All Night Long

Red City Disco All Night Long is a live act working across R&B, soul, funk, gospel and reggae, appearing at Simone's in Liverpool. The night suits listeners who follow those styles.

Red City Disco All Night Long draws on R&B, soul, funk, gospel and reggae. Each of these styles has its own lineage: soul and gospel share a vocal tradition rooted in church singing, funk builds on tight rhythmic grooves, and reggae brings the offbeat pulse of Jamaican music. Together they place the project across several strands of black popular music on both sides of the Atlantic.

Simone's hosts concerts and shows in Liverpool. The night is aimed at listeners drawn to soul, funk and R&B who want to hear these styles performed live in the city, and at those who enjoy gospel-inflected harmony alongside reggae rhythms.
