Overview
Samuel Nicholson, a songwriter, singer and guitarist, returns to the stage at Leith Depot in Edinburgh, with Quaking Aspens in support, after two years spent in the studio.
Samuel Nicholson is a songwriter, singer and guitarist whose music grew out of Motown records heard in the car with a parent, hard rock records handed down by a father, and the jazz, folk and experimental music of earlier decades. The most recent album, Birthday Suit, works as a self-portrait and a love letter at once, moving from guitar solos to raw vulnerability.
Samuel Nicholson returns to the stage for several headline shows at Leith Depot after two years spent in the studio, with the release of new music in prospect. Quaking Aspens, from Brighton, are the support act.
