Overview
The Australian Pink Floyd Show, also known as Aussie Floyd, is a tribute act from Adelaide that brings the music and visual world of Pink Floyd to the stage at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
The Australian Pink Floyd Show is an Australian cover band from Adelaide, formed in 1988 as a tribute to Pink Floyd. It is not the British group itself, but a separate act performing the band's music.
The show recreates the world of Pink Floyd through lasers, inflatable structures and a large screen. Pink Floyd, formed in London in 1965, built its reputation on extended instrumental passages and elaborate stage productions, and this presentation draws on that visual tradition.
The Royal Albert Hall hosts concerts and shows in London. The evening suits listeners who want a staged presentation of Pink Floyd's music performed by a dedicated tribute act, rather than the original band.
