The Cribs are an indie rock band from Wakefield, formed by the brothers Ross, Gary and Ryan Jarman. Their self-titled debut album appeared in 2005 on Wichita Recordings, and their guitar-driven sound has been built on short, direct songs. Johnny Marr, formerly guitarist with The Smiths, later joined the group as a member, linking their work to British guitar pop of the 1980s.

The evening suits listeners who know the group's guitar-led indie rock and fans who have followed the Jarman brothers'records since the early releases.
