Overview
The Illegal Eagles is a tribute act performing the music of the Eagles, presented at the Bath Forum in Bath. It is a rock night built around the songs of the American group.
The Eagles were an American rock group formed in Los Angeles in 1971. Their original line-up included Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner, and their best-known records include On the Border (1974) and Hotel California (1976). Songs such as "Take It Easy" and "Hotel California" remain central to their catalogue.
The Illegal Eagles is a tribute act, so the performers are not the Eagles themselves; the evening is a homage to the band's songs. The programme draws on the rock repertoire associated with the original group, which suits listeners who know the Eagles'records and want to hear them performed live.
