The Lilacs

The Lilacs, an American band formed in 1990, play a pop, rock and indie concert at Islington Assembly Hall in London.

The Lilacs are an American band formed in 1990. Their first album, The Lilacs Rise Above the Filth, was released in 1992, and it marks the starting point of their recorded output. The band works in the pop, rock and indie territories, which is the field this evening's concert is listed under.

Beyond the year of formation and the title of that debut album, the details of their current line-up, their setlist and their live repertoire are not something this listing establishes, so the programme for the night is best understood from the artist's own catalogue and from the act's announced material on the night.

The evening suits listeners who follow American guitar-led pop, rock and indie and want to hear a band that has been active since the early 1990s in a live setting. Islington Assembly Hall hosts concerts and shows in London, and this is one of the events on its calendar, offering a straightforward night out for fans of the genre.
