The Radio Dept + Ana Roxanne + A Good Year

A concert at KOKO in London bringing together The Radio Dept, Ana Roxanne and A Good Year, three acts listed under pop, rock and indie.

The Radio Dept is a Swedish indie pop band from Malmö, formed in the late 1990s, whose albums such as Clinging to a Scheme (2003) and Passive Aggressive (2010) combine shoegaze-tinged guitars with dreamy synthesiser textures and melancholic vocals. Their sound draws on the 1980s British indie and dream-pop tradition, and their records are often cited by listeners of the genre for their restrained, atmospheric arrangements.

Ana Roxanne is an artist from the same scene, and A Good Year is also an artist from the music scene; the programme places these three acts together on one bill, so the evening mixes contrasting voices within the indie and pop field. Details of the live line-ups and set lists are not confirmed here.

KOKO is a concert and show venue in London, and the evening suits listeners who follow indie pop and alternative rock. Check the dates table on this page for the performance schedule.
